Three Brisas Hotels and Resorts Properties Win the Prestigious 2009 AAA Four Diamond Award

MIAMI, FL., April 27^th, 2009, 2009 – Three Brisas Hotels & Resorts and two of their restaurants have been awarded the prestigious 2009 AAA Four Diamond Award. Las Brisas Acapulco, Las Brisas Ixtapa and its restaurant Portofino, and Las Hadas in Manzanillo and its restaurant Legazpi are the three resorts and their respective restaurants that have been awarded by this program. The trademark at this level includes an extensive range of amenities combined with a high degree of hospitality, service and attention to detail.

 

Brisas Hotels & Resorts join a select group of AAA Four Diamond Award winners for the year 2009. AAA recently conducted an evaluation in hotels across the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean throughout a 12-month period. After the evaluation, only 3 percent of more than 32,000 properties approved by the AAA achieved this prestigious distinction. AAA is one of the only two companies that conducts physical on-site evaluations. All properties must first meet AAA’s rigorous requirements and guidelines during an evaluation by one of AAA’s full-time professional inspectors to become AAA approved.

-          Las Brisas Acapulco relies on a talented and qualified staff. Many members of the team have been there for over 20 years providing guests with excellent service.

-          Las Brisas Ixtapa was the only hotel out of the 41 evaluated by AAA in Ixtapa that won this award. In addition, their restaurant Portofino is now the only Four Diamond rated restaurant in Ixtapa.

-          Las Hadas in Manzanillo was awarded the AAA Four Diamond Award for the 7^th consecutive year, holding the title longer than any other property in the state of Colima. In addition, their restaurant Legazpi was awarded the Four Diamond rating for the 6^th consecutive year.
